Testimonial #1: My uncle from PA, a freelance graphic designer.

My response: Okay. I don't know whether this is a rip or not, but I am happy to hear a response via video. I do have a market, and my stuff has been in two galleries and one store in the past four months. I am not much of a businessman, so I am not as, what's the word, pushy about forcing commissions onto people. That's probably why I'm broke. I do stuff for my friends all the time. They seem to love my work. Maybe it's because it's free, but, ehhhh. But, back to the market. What I'm doing, at this time in 2006, soon to be 2007, is quite popular amongst a lot of people. I didn't start doing my style of artwhateverstuff because it was popular. It discovered me in a cement factory, and I got sucked into it... sucked so hard, i'm in art school, having the time of my life discovering something somewhat related- graphic design and typography. My style is, to say the least, weird. I am aware of this. But, I believe that my quirky style will take me somewhere. It makes my classmates laugh in my classes. It makes my friends on the internet laugh. My goal has been reached. They are my market, and from the looks of it, I'm doing well. So, yeah, I'm going to push myself and my art to the edge until I die. It's just how I do business, and I'm not due to die for at least another seven years. Watered-down design is the thing killing America right now.

I will be one of the designers to wake up America. Me and avacado green all the way.

PS- jethro tull makes this f00ken creeeeeepy ):
